    Good Day,

Kindly update your SEO Analyzer to ensure it detects the proper number of page objects loaded by a website. Specifically, it needs to exclude lazy loaded images.

Our website, for example, lazy loads all of its images except those above the fold. Reputable SEO Analyzers (or checkers) detected only those above the fold. In our case, three (3) images. Your SEO Analyzer, however, detected twenty-five (25) images (those above and below the fold).

In short, we strongly believe your SEO Analyzer is not providing a realistic Page Object score for websites containing lazy loaded images.

If you disagree with our recommendation, please share your rationale and the SEO standards – if any – you’re following.

    Thank you!

    Hello @generosus,

Thank you for contacting our support team and for sharing your suggestion for the SEO Analysis feature.

We have reviewed your suggestion and have decided to implement the change you have proposed – the lazy-loaded elements should indeed be excluded from the page object count. We do not have an ETA for this change.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you for your valuable feedback and for helping us improve our platform.

    Hi @rankmathteam,

    Much better, thank you!

If you don’t mind, we would like to understand better your definition of Page Objects. Compared to other analyzers, yours seems to be detecting more page objects than the others.

    Cheers ??

    Hello @generosus,

The Page Objects test reports the objects like media files and JS & CSS files that are loaded on the page load. You can learn more about SEO analyzer and its tests here: https://rankmath.com/kb/seo-analysis/

    Hope that helps.

    Hey @rankmathteam,

Thanks for the link. Very helpful.

After reading your article, we can confirm that your SEO Analyzer is still picking up images that are lazy loaded.

Including all other files (e.g., JS, CSS, and Images), our home page contains only ten (10) page objects.

Would you guys like to revisit your SEO Analyzer one more time to find out why it’s still detecting images that are lazy loaded?

Perhaps it’s counting lazy loaded images that are contained inside sliders or carousels. We believe it is.

    Thank you!
