Hi, I understand yoast seo analysis does not work on templates. However, is there a workaround for product pages on elementor? You need to create a single product page template in order to make an elementor product page to my understanding, so does this mean the seo analysis feature does not work on any of the on page design for elementor? Or is there a workaround?

On a side note, if I make changes on the single product page template (only 1 product), but they do not update on the seo analysis as described above, will these changes still be recognised by google? If they will, then I can still take the advice from SEO analysis and ignore that it still says red for some of them, as I know they reflect on the actual page. This is my current workaround idea if you do not have an alternative. please share if you think this would work

    Hello @jamiepell839

Thanks for using Yoast SEO. I’ve addressed your concerns below:

so does this mean the seo analysis feature does not work on any of the on page design for elementor??

The Yoast SEO analysis is bnot available for template editor/designs

is there a workaround for product pages on elementor?

In the meantime, you can create a draft post without using the page builder and copy the content section from the frontend of your site into the default editor. The Yoast analysis will run on the draft’s copy of the content so you can review and change the content in both editors. Once you’ve optimized the content, you can discard the draft copy.

will these changes still be recognised by google??

Although our plugin does not detect your content and shows an incorrect analysis report, this does not affect how search engines crawl and analyze your site. Search engines process the front end of your site and will detect your content.
