Senses lite "kills" every format

  • Hi, I just installed Senses Lite as my new theme and now I have the problem that it deletes every format in my articles. I cannot write bold or underlined text, I cannot make any breaks oder paragraphs.
    It works in the editor, it works in the preview, it works with other themes, but when I put the article online it is only plain text without any structure.
    Where’s my fault and how can I fix it?

    The theme isn’t coded to remove/delete formatting, Do you have a link to your site to show your unformated content, and I will take a look? As well, what kind of formatting are you noticing is removed?

    I noticed that every format works on pages and in complete articles. But not on the start page with in the first lines of the article. And as it works in other themes, I thought it must be a problem of sense lite

    For example on the start page you have the article “Herzlich willkommen”. For testing I formatted the word “Heimat” bold, but it is not bold. It becomes bold, if I open the whole article.

    Hope you understand, I am sorry for perhaps not using the right terms, but english is not my mothertongue.

    Ah Ha! I know what it is ??
    First, thanks for the link, because as soon as I went to your site, I know the issue (technically not an issue). You are using the Excerpt blog style for your summaries. By default, WordPress excerpts strips out all formatting. Senses Lite has the Excerpt setting active by default, so you will need to change this by going to:

    Appearance >> Customize >> Blog Options

    To change this, this tutorial might help you out:

    As a side note, don’t worry about English not being your first language. It’s my language, but even I don’t understand it always ??

    Thank you very much, that worked. But I have not been in the Excerpt blog style, but in the Content Style. I switched once to the Excerpt style, published and switched back to Content Style and published. That worked.
