Hi @laurenpiovesan ,
WooCommerce Memberships is a paid plugin, and can only be used with WooCommerce. For Sensei integration, you’ll also need to upgrade to the paid Sensei Pro.
We have directionsn for setting up Memberships with Sensei Pro here:
https://senseilms.com/documentation/selling-courses-as-a-membership/
Sensei only creates one user role, teacher
. Teachers can create courses, add students, and manage them.
However, in your use case, you’re talking about ‘schools’. The more I think about this, the more I’m not convinced you could easily use Sensei for this.
Some considerations:
– a Membership is tied to a single WordPress account on your site.
– it’s not possible to create ‘sub-users’ of a WordPress account; these sub-users in this case would be teachers for a given school.
– it may be possible to use a plugin like this (for WooCommerce): Subaccounts and Multi-User accounts
Another consideration would be: how to you separate the courses for different schools; that is – if student A attends School A, there’s nothing to keep them from signing up for a course from School B, unless you want to only allow manually adding WordPress accounts for students, and manually adding them to courses.
Basically, it would require some additional plugins and/or custom code to get what you want, but probably could be done. I’d be curious to hear how you get on with this!
Best,
Cena
