    Hello!

I am translating Sensei LMS plugin to estonian using Loco translate.

I have downloaded the estonian .po file from Sensei website and uploaded it. I also have tried adding estonian language manually. And every time that i update Loco translate or Sensei plugin the translation is gone. It has happened many times.

I also have Sensei Pro licence. Sensei Pro translations are still there but core plugin ones have been wiped.

Could it be something to do with the location of .po file in the website server?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Updating Loco Translate will not remove or modify translation files in other plugins. Updating plugins with WordPress community translations will update any installed translations for that plugin.

Yes. See the FAQ: Why have my translation files been reverted?

Where should i move my estonian translations? Both of them (Sensei and Sensei PRO) are under custom right now “languages/loco/plugins/sensei-pro-et.po”

This location should be safe from WordPress backups. Loco Translate will not delete this file automatically in any situation, and – to the best of my knowledge – neither will WordPress.

Have you verified that it’s the file that has “gone”, or just that your translation stops displaying?

The file is gone under Loco translate – Sensei PRO/Sensei – Language. I have to add estonian language again altogether.

The file is gone under Loco translate

Do you mean that it is no longer visible in the dashboard, or that the file is actually gone from your server?

If the latter, I have no explanation as to what is removing it.
