I was thinking on tweeking some php file file but not sure which one

This is mostly dependent upon your theme.

YOu can take a look here for more information about theming Sensei: https://senseilms.com/documentation/theming-customization/

While Sensei will work with any well-built theme, you can find themes that specifically work in a grid. You may be able to find a third-party theme that works that way, by searching on Google.

If you don’t have any luck there, you might want to look at getting something customized. We do not provide customization services, but if you are familiar with development work, you might find this helpful:
