Since the last update I get weekly a notification about the statistics. Even if I deactivated the notifications in the settings.

I’m managing approx 20 websites with wp statistics installed. Now I get 20 unwanted e-mails with the reports.

Please fix that quickly. Thank you.

    Hi @marc-iten

Are you using a multisite/network setup, or do you have 20 separate sites on different WordPress installations?

Additionally, please specify which option, when disabled, still results in emails being sent to you.
To stop receiving emails, you need to set the Report Frequency option to Disable in the path Settings – Admin Notifications. Are you still receiving emails even after setting this option to disabled?

    Hi @amirfallah

Thank you for your fast reply.

I have multisites as well as single sites. https://www.marc-iten.ch is a single site, https://www.feuerwehr.gr is part of a multisite. https://arosa.feuerwehr.gr is part of the same multisite (and with wp statistics activated), but I don’t receive notifications from there.

I also have the plugin installed on other websites and don’t receive notifications from there. But all WordPress installations and plugin installations are on the same version. I update everything once a week with manage wp.

All websites have the same settings. on all I have the report frequency on “disabled” (“deactivated” in german). I re-checked the websites the notifications came from. but all have been on “disabled”.

Is there anything I can check or give you more information about?

    Kind regards
    Marc

We have made changes to the Report Frequency options in recent updates, which may cause your existing Event to have a different value but display as Disabled in this section.

Please check in the path Statistics – Settings – Admin Notifications if the green message ‘Your next report is scheduled to …’ is displayed to you or not. If this message is shown and the option is set to Disabled, please change it to another option, save it, and then change it back to Disabled to deactivate the related Event.

Additionally, you can delete the wp_statistics_report_hook Event using the command wp cron event delete wp_statistics_report_hook or through plugins like WP Crontrol.

I hope this resolves your issue.

Ok, thank you very much for your help.

I checked now every site and could not find any message for scheduled notifications. I will wait until next week to check it. If I get some messages I will try to delete the event hook.

I will let you know next monday.

    Thank you
    kind regards
