Sending suspended – no response from support

I’ve set up Mailpoet free version using the sending service because less than 1,000 subscribers. We got suspended on the first mailing, and I’ve contacted support several times with no response. So we’re stuck on pause with no way to resolve it, even though we have cleaned our list again to only absolutely safe addresses.
Looks like the client is going to have to take a paid plan just in order to get this lifted, as only mailpoet can resolve this but won’t respond to support requests from non paying clients?
Here’s the message we have: Sending has been paused due to a technical issue with MailPoet: The MailPoet sending service has been temporarily suspended for your site due to degraded email deliverability. Please contact our support team to resolve this issue.”
