Sending stopped working, says blocked by host, but host is not blocking

    Post SMTP was working fine for me for a long time, but a week ago, all my sites using it are no longer sending e-mails.

    I get the error “Could not open socket Your hosting is blocking the connection, contact their support”.

    Doing the Connectivity test, it says sockets 587 and 25 can be used to send e-mails form my sites, but neither setups work – both give this same error.

    I have been in touch with my hosting, who say all 3 ports (587, 25, and 465) are open, and they have not changed anything their end.

    I have also not changed anything my end in the last few months.

    Are you able to help?
