    Have been through all of the docs and searched the forum but can’t find a definitive answer anywhere…

    I have set up Mailpoet on my WP site and have linked it to a free Sendgrid account, which as I understand it allows up to 400 emails per day.

    I have a batch of around 800 newsletters to send out…

    So to prevent Mailpoet trying to send more than Sendgrid allows on the free account, I’ve set the ‘send rate’ in Mailpoet to 16/hour. 400/day divided by 24 (hours) = 16.66 so call it 16…

    Is that the correct setting? Not really a problem (the newsletters are not urgent, and they’re for a charity so free is good) but am a bit uncertain… TIA if anyone can confirm!

  • I have just set up my free Sendgride account and I received an email that states it’s only free for 45 days:

    We hope your 45-day free trial will help you experience all that SendGrid has to offer. Of course, if you have any problems or additional questions, please feel free to contact our Email Support Team.

    Did they change this?

    @kazryll we aren’t aware of that, please get in touch with them about that.

    @pppete that’s correct.

    Hi There, they have removed the free plan it’s only available as a trial can you update your settings ‘send with’ recommendations as you only have the one. Is there any others that you can recommend?

    I have just created an account with SendGrid, no email about any trial limitation so far – however, I yesterday found that SparkPost allows for 100k Mails/mo free. Would be nice if MailPoet could check them out and add them to their integrated services, if possible. In any case, ideally.
