Sending PDF attachment only to admin

    Hi,
    Does you plugin have provision for sending the PDF invoice as attachment as soon as order payment is received and order status changes to processing? An email is sent via Woocommerce that Order received to the admin/store registered email ID. Now we want the PDF to be sent only to admin/store email ID and not to customer. Is it possible? What are the settings?

    Hi @cmsnext,

    The plugin is capable of sending the PDF invoice as an attachment with the mail. The PDF is sent to both customer and admin email based on the order status set.

    @webtoffee Can you guide what order status results in PDF invoice generated and attached in email? And is it possible to just define only admin and not to customer?

    Hi @cmsnext,

    Most probably all new orders are created with PROCESSING status. Thus please set that status to create invoice and email.

    Currently, there is no option to send only to admin users. PDF is sent to both admin and customer.

    @webtoffee – Yes when we set Processing the PDF does generate and is sent only to the customer. We also want one copy to be sent to the Admin. Is it not possible to send one email to the admin too? Or any suggestions how we could add admin email support to this? As its very difficult to login and generate PDF invoice each time for our records.

    Secondly, regarding size of PDF generated. Why is PDF size very big? Usually around 900KB! If I go to Print Invoice and then save that as PDF then size is just 100KB!
    Any suggestions to reduce size of PDF?

    Hi @cmsnext,

    In both our responses above, we have mentioned that the PDF will be sent to both ADMINISTRATOR user and CUSTOMER user. To admin user, the PDF will be attached with the New Order mail sent by the user. This is the default workflow of the plugin. Please try setting PROCESSING status under email settings.

    We will fix the PDF size issue in upcoming update. Thanks for notifying us.

    @webtoffee Thanks. Ya we have set Processing Status for email. But customer does receive the attachment, administrator receives mail without PDF. Let me try setting some other email or some other installation and get back. Thanks for the update.

    @webtoffee We resaved the settings and now admin seems to get the PDF. Thanks. may be we had not saved it right last time. So roughly when can we expect the fix on PDF size? Or any quick fix that you can provide? Thanks

    Hi @webtoffee one more query. Is it possible to disable CSS & JS in the front end? Because I dont have any option in front end where we need the JS & CSS. Thanks
