sending out duplicate emails

    We are having an odd issue with Subscribe2.

    One of the users “Bob” (who is also an admin) has reported that he gets like 11 copies of every email, his address is definitely only subscribed once. I have not have any reports from anyone else only bob.

    In addition whenever I make a blog post I also get a copy of the email he gets but it says it was sent FROM Bob and To Bob, I presume it is being bcc’d to me, but why ?
    Of course bob is not set as the FROM address in wordpress either.

    I suspect the number of recipients per email in the Subscribe2 settings page is set to something other than one.

    ok thanks, I understand the multiple copies as I had the limit set to 50 as was sending through gmail.
    But I still cannot see why the emails were going to BOB and not me as I am the wordpress admin and it is my email address in the settings, so I should have received the multiple copies not him.
    And the subscribe2 settings were set to send email from post author, which is also me, so why are they being sent FROM bob ?

    Choosing “Post Author” as the sender uses the person who publishes a post. I would guess that if Bob has written a post that’s why he gets multiple notifications. You need to choose your user name in the drop down rather than “Post Author”.

    yes that is exactly the issue, it is ME who is the post author, I created the posts, my name is on the posts, yet the emails are not being sent from me.

    I still advise the same as above; change the default sender to your name in the drop down list instead of “Post Author”.
