The recipient will receive the gift card via email and can click the Redeem button to be directed to your WooCommerce store. The gift card number will be automatically applied to their cart when they click on the link.

If the purchasing customer would prefer to deliver the gift card to the recipient themselves, they can simply enter their own email address in the “To” field.

The PW Gift Cards Pro version includes the ability to sell physical gift cards and to offer a PDF option to print the gift card.

Oh. That is a weird way of handling gift cards.

Surely the purpose of a gift card, or voucher, is to buy a gift card and give it to someone as a present, or gift, so they can redeem if for something physical, not for buying something on an online store.

In our case we want to use it for people to buy gift cards for activities and when they go to the activity they hand the gift card/voucher in instead of having to pay money.

Can this methodolgy only be handled in your Pro version?

If we cannot test the functionality of the Pro version in a trial what is your refund policy? Should the plugin not prove to be suitable.

The plugin is designed to sell gift cards for an existing WooCommerce store. So if you have a WooCommerce store with products, then customers can send gift cards to other potential customers.

If you do not have an online store and will be using WooCommerce solely for the sale of gift cards, you will likely want the features of the Pro version. Here is an overview of selling for a physical store:
