• Hi MailPoet Team.
Currently I’m testing MailPoet if is the right plugin for all of the mailing funtionality of my website. I think, the “normal” newsletter functions are working well.
But: I have also the requirement to manually send a mail to people of my community – on my own occasion:
    – The email adresses would be imported from CSV.
    – The mail should be sent only ONCE to each new member
    – No registration or subscription process should be required – the members send me their contact data via another way
    – I want to use newsletter templates of MailPoet

In short: I want to use MailPoet to send a normal serial letter/mail – but benefit of the templates and tracking functionality of MailPoet.

I did not find a solution for my requirements. Newsletter-Mails need a subscription process. Welcome-Mails does not work if the Email-adresses are imported from CSV …

    Any help?

    Hi there @mgoerls,

If you already have explicit consent from the subscribers to send emails to them, then you could import them from the CSV file as “Subscribed” —?you can choose the status to import both new and existing subscribers as during the import process. From there, you can create a regular Newsletter and send it to them. This process would not require registration/subscription, and would allow you to use the built-in templates and tracking. We have a guide for importing from CSV here:
    https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/126-importing-subscribers-with-csv-files

Before doing an import, I’d recommend running your list through a cleaning service just in case to remove any invalid addresses:

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

    Hi there @mgoerls,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

The issue isn’t resolved – the problem:
“– No registration or subscription process should be required”
    is still unsolved.
One cannot send E-Mails without the forced “unsubscribe” footer – so:
    – The receiver can unsubscribe from these mails
    – I have to handle all “subscription issues” and managing pages

Q: Is there a possibility to send E-Mails WITHOUT the forced (manage/unsubscribe) footer?
