Sending Mail Tags to CRM

I have a form I would like to collect a few mail tags for and send to a CRM via Forms: 3rd Party Integration. 1.) Will this work? 2.) What is the syntax? I know I can just stick the tags in the form, but when sending them to the CRM, do I specify them as values? Do I place code into the field box? Use brackets? The docs explain the tags but don’t explain how to use them other than in the most basic sense. I have tried a couple of things, but I thought I would get a more direct answer coming to the forum. Thanks!
