Sending HTML through textarea

I am trying to give the user the ability to use tinymce to format an email that is sent via Contact Form 7. The issue is that when the email is sent it changes the tags into html entities so it displays the tags in the email rather than rendering them as html.
Use HTML is checked but somewhere in the mix of sending the email, it changes the tags.
I am trying to search the support forum for similar issues but I don’t see how to do that, sorry.
