Sending form very slow..

  • Hello guys,

    we are facing an issue with contact form 7 as, whenever user sending a form it’s taking too much time to submit the form successfully. the dealy is about 20+ seconds.
    please look into the issue. also we are not using any SMTP plugin, just normally using contact form 7 using inbuilt PHP mail function.
    kindly let us know if more details are required.

    Update* – ‘Contact Form 7 Redirection’ plugin removed and added some custom filter in function.php for redirection. as we have a contact form on 10 pages saperately.

    Try switching theme to the default one (Twenty Nineteen or Twenty Seventeen) and deactivating all other plugins.

    Hi Takayuki, tried as per your suggestions but no luck. still facing the issue. taking the same amount of time to send the data. please help.

    If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”

    Once that is installed, on the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you only, while you’re still logged in.

    This does not affect normal visitors to your site, for them all the plugins are still and themes are still active.

    You can then use its admin bar menu to turn on/off plugins and themes one at a time. This will permit you to troubleshoot and hopefully identify where the conflict is.
