Tried already de-/reactivating plugins and switching tot default theme on both sites with different hosters.

Do you have file attachments in your form?

The possibility is to upload files, but testing I did without.

When I removed the upload input, Safari worked again.

I’ve found that by disabling Ajax for the form, it works OK. You can disable Ajax for the affected form only by using the Contact Form 7 Controls plugin.

@alduinwf: the upload possibility is needed. Without is, the form has no use. But thx for your suggestion.

@apjanas: I will try that plugin. If it works, I will mark this issue as solved.

Up until last week, everything worked fine. Maybe it has to do with the update of macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 of last week. Parts of Safari seems to have been changed.

Using the controls plugin to disable Ajax worked for us. But that does not solve the issue itself. Its a work around…

@2ww: I’m using el Capitan so I think it is probably related to the update of Safari to 11.1 on 30th March.

Please be aware that disabling Ajax also disables the acceptance checkbox function, this may be a problem for some forms.

Correction, it does not disable the acceptance checkbox function, it only disables the disabling of the “send” button if you see what I mean. You still get the message that you have to tick the box when you click on “send”.

Same problem on two of my sites…

Discovered as I was creating a new form… then went back and checked previously created form on a different website, that worked previously… Now it’s broken on that site ??

Running Safari 11.1 (13605.1.33.1.2) on Mac OS 10.13.4.
Same problem occurs on my iPad running iOS 11.3 (15E216)

Works fine in Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.18954, under Windows 7

So I suspect it a “bug” in Apple’s Safari, rather than Contact Form 7
