• Hi,

    I’ve read multiple emails on issue with sending emails on import. I am having similar troubles.

    I have attempted SMTP and Default. Both work when sending test email via plugin but on import fail.

    In fact the import fails to process more than the first row when I have either box for sending emails checked.

    If I uncheck both email boxes the import works as expected.

    Being able to send email on import is critical as I need to have the new users sent their login credentials.

    Thanks you for any help. The plugins is great, just a wrinkle to iron out.

    Note: not errors are displayed, the results screen simple shown one line and stops.

    Thanks Javier it was:

    Settings: Use this settings to send mail.
    From Email: ***@***.co.uk
    From Name: Me
    Tried both options via SMPT and PHP mail() neither worked.
    Checked: Return Path
    SMTP Host: localhost
    SMTP Port: 25
    Encryption: I tried both no encryption and TLS
    Authentication No: Do not use SMTP authentication.
    ======
    I also tried the same but using Gmails SMTP with Authentication.

    ======

    In all situations sending a test email on the configuration page of the import plug worked without issue. Only when trying an import did it fall down.

    ======

    In all situations when running import and checking either option to email users updated/created the imported failed after attempting to import only the first record. As it turn out it does import that first record but stops and also does not email.

    Import is done correctly?

    (@smuglet)

    Only when I chose to not send any email. The issue only happens when chosing to send email on update or add of user through the import process.

    Maybe the problem is not about mail sending, the problem maybe is related with some PHP error that raises in this moment (trying to send mail in the import).

    This is working in thousend of sites so the problem is about your site.

    I can give you premium support if you need it but from here we cannot do more.

    Tell me if you are interested.

    I would not be surprised if it was some conflict, seems to be the way with WP.

    Seems odd that the test email works though.

    There is some conflict with another thing: file, theme, plugins… I could have a look if you need it.

    There is some problem in your file/theme/plugin.

    I could have a look but this would not be free support, this would be premium and personal support.

    If you want it, tell me.

    i discovered it has an incompatibility issue with
    Profile Builder Pro
    in my case if i disable it it works just fine
