    Hi, I’m hoping for a bit of assistance with a config setting.
    Not sure what settings to use in a plugin called (PinPoint Booking System). The plugin author has advised me to use SMTP. But because I’m using the Post SMTP plugin using Postman to send mail via ??SMTP-STARTTLS to smtp.gmail.com:587 using OAuth 2.0 authentication. The pinpoint plugin when selecting SMTP for email notifications requires me to use SMTP Host username and SMTP Host password. Using OAuth 2.0, what do I use for the username and password?
    Thanks

    You don’t need to use smtp inside the pinpoint plugin, Post SMTP is taking over the delivery and passing it to what you configured in the settings.

    You can confirm my answer with the plugin developer.

    Hi @yehudah thank you for your quick response. I’ve pasted your reply in my message to the Pinpoint plugin developer. For your info this is the error message I get from Pinpoint when I’ve selected send notification via SMTP:
    Notification test email could not be sent.
    Mailer error: SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting
    SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting

    I don’t understand the message because it’s refering to PHPMailer when I’m trying to use SMTP.
