Sending email doesn’t work with WP Mail SMTP

    Hi,
    I just installed your plugin on latest version of WooCommerce. I am using plgin called WP Mail SMTP for setting credentials for sending emails. However Emails Verification for WooCommerce doesn’t seem to work well with it.

    Changing mail function to PHP mail() works just fine, but the from as well as name in email headers are ugly default values from host provider or god knows where. So it is not an acceptable solution for me.

    WP Mail SMTP throws this errors at me :

    Mailer: Other SMTP The following From address failed: [email protected] : MAIL FROM command failed,Submission must be authenticated ,550,SMTP server error: MAIL FROM command failed Detail: Submission must be authenticated SMTP code: 550

    And woocommerce logs show this:
    INFO Error sending mail. Mail function: wc_mail. Last error: A non well formed numeric value encountered.

    Can you please help me so that I can use either woocommerce mail function or WP one ? I will be grateful!

    Hi,

    I just tried to replicate your situation on my end but was unable to.

    Can you please try in the WP Mail SMTP plugin, to change the SMTP Encryption settings between SSL, TLS, and None.

    Please let me know if you continue having trouble with this.

    Thanks for the reply.

    For some reason other Woocommerce actions sending emails also stopped working. I removed WP Mail SMTP.

    I was trying out few other plugins similar to Email Verification for Woocommerce (including Email Verification for Woocommerce) that day, so I am not sure which one actually broke it in the end.
