sending also data from “Ultimate FAQ” and selected by categories

is it possible to send also FAQ’s (similar to posts) from “Ultimate FAQ”-plugin?

Generally, post notification emails will work with custom post types as long as they are searchable on the frontend of the site (i.e exclude_from_search set to false).

So, if that Ultimate FAQ plugin is creating the FAQs as a custom post type that meets the point above, hopefully it should work.

And 2nd, is it possible to have 2 or more different layouts which are sent per defined category?

You can create multiple Post Notification emails, and design them as preferred, and set each one to only include the category you want it to send out for:

thanks for your answer.
But – sorry to say it doesn’t work ??
The entries of Ultimate FAQ are searchable but it seems they are not saved as post-type. Seems therefore MailPoet doesn’t find the entries.
Therefore I must search for another solution.

That looks to be the case, if the FAQs are not saved as post types, MailPoet won’t be able to find them.
