I believe that I have this plugin set up correctly with SendInBlue but WordPress keeps showing the following error message:

WP Mail SMTP has detected incorrect "wp_mail" function location. Usually, this means that emails will not be sent successfully!

It looks like the "Newsletter, SMTP, Email marketing and Subscribe forms by Sendinblue" plugin is overwriting the "wp_mail" function. Please reach out to the plugin developer on how to disable or remove the "wp_mail" function overwrite to prevent conflicts with WP Mail SMTP.

    Current function path: /home/roto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailin/sendinblue.php:324

I’ve used the “Uninstall WP Mail SMTP
Remove ALL WP Mail SMTP data upon plugin deletion. All settings will be unrecoverable.” option and reinstalled, reset API keys, and triple checked all settings.

The SendInBlue documentation says to turn on Transactional Emails (see step 4 here: https://www.sendinblue.com/blog/wordpress-not-sending-email/) so I’m confused as to why this plugin is telling me to uncheck this setting.

    I found the solution:

I was running both WP MAIL SMTP and the SendInBlue plugin, which was causing issues with the contact form and transactional emails. I assumed that you needed both plugins working.

SOLUTION: I removed the SendInBlue plugin, connected WP MAIL SMTP to SendInBlue via the API, and all is working correctly now.
