sendinblue consent box disables email
-
Hi!
First of all, thanks for this amazing plugin. I am building a wordpress.com site, and I have been scouring for hours and hours to find a form plugin that works for my needs. So many “freemium” plugins rope you in with the promise that it will work, only to discover after many hours that the basic functionality you need requires an expensive subscription.
I was super thrilled when I found Contact Form 7. Something simple to use that does what I need it to do.
There’s just one problem I’ve run into so far.
So I integrated it with sendinblue, and that seemed to work fine.
I am builing a few contact forms for my website for people to contact me, and I want to have a checkbox option that will subscribe them to my email list if they want.
There’s only one problem I’ve found— if they don’t check the box, I don’t receive their message at all. It’s as if the whole form is deactivated– even though I get the green box with the message saying that their message has been sent.
I’ve sent a few test emails. Whenever they check the box, it adds their contact to my sendinblue list and also sends me an email with the contents of the form.
And if they don’t check the box, then it doesn’t get sent to sendinblue. Great.
But also, it doesn’t send me an email with their message. It seems their whole message goes nowhere.
Anyway, thanks so much!
