sendgrid sending stopped working with 2.7.11.3

  • updated to 2.7.11.3 today, now i can’t send with sendgrid (neither api nor smtp) anymore.

    Credentials are unchanged, other tools connected to same account are still working.

    Reentered credentials multiple times, but am getting “Bad username / password” now .. at first it was a rather non-helpful error (at least in the german translation) as it said that it’s actually working – but obviously it didn’t.

    so i tried downgrading, step by step. with every version i openend mailpoet’s settings, reentered credentials, hit save, sent test mail from settings. error.

    at 2.7.11 i had the fancy idea to *not* hit save after entering the credentials – and lo and behold – test mail worked. but after hitting save it was the same again.

    @markusk your web browser might be auto-completing (feature) the previous username and password when you hit save. That happened to several other users in the past. Try changing your browser.
