SendGrid not sending emails — no error messages
-
I’m using MailPoet to send newsletters to those who sign up for it. I have 2 test subscribers and I’m trying to send them a newsletter but the newsletter doesn’t send. I checked the spam folder and miscellaneous folders the email could end up in, but didn’t find the email.
There are no issues I can see — the task scheduler connection is successful, there are no listed “Cron” errors, and there are no listed “Sending Queue” errors. In the “Newsletters” section under the “Emails” tab, the status says “2/2”. In the “sent” section, every newsletter I try to send is listed.
I’m not sure what about the connection between SendGrid and my domain could be wrong. I successfully set up the domain authentication, single sender verification, and link branding. I also set up the SendGrid API key with MailPoet. When I send a test email to my personal email, it doesn’t work. My SendGrid statistics say that today, there were 4 email requests and none were delivered. However, when I send out a newsletter right now, my SendGrid dashboard doesn’t get any additional send requests. I’m not sure if there’s a delay with the display of how many emails are sent.
At one point, there was an error at the top of the page — if I remember correctly, it said something about how the sending isn’t working and I should check the error logs. The error logs didn’t say anything. I can’t seem to recreate this message.
Any idea how to fix SendGrid not working with MailPoet? Let me know if you need any other information.
Thank you!
