SendGrid libary not found

  • I’m having trouble getting this plugin to function in WP 4.2.2. I’ve been able to add the API client parameters (although SendGrid Mailing List Name will not store). I’ve also setup a widget with the shortcode which displays correctly. When entering an email address in the widget a red box is shown underneath and not signup occurs.

    The webserver error log is showing the following error:

    PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function setEmail() on a non-object in /var/www/mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/sendgrid-mailing-list/sendgridMailingList.php on line 73

    PHP version 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.9

    I’ll try to debug a bit more. Help is appreciated.

    I’ve switched to using the subscribe widget of Sendgrid for now. I still think this plugin is relevant as the Sendgrid widget loads a bit slow.
