Sendgrid confusion

    Hey there,

    I’m a bit confused. I’m using the sendgrid plugin to send out all WordPress eMail through their API. This works great for everything so far but the Newsletter plugin seems to use a different method to send out emails?

    I know I can setup SMTP but I’m more keen to use the Sendgrid API so I thought it could use the wordpress default way to send emails.

    Any idea what’s going on?

    No, if you have the basic Newsletter configuration, it uses WP to send emails and so any plugin you installed which change how WP sends emails.

    Be sure in main settings to have the “send directly” disabled.
