• Hello,

    We have an issue with our subscribe form which is running for more than 2 years and a half without incident.

    Since last week, the form returns this error from time to time : “Sender’s message failed to send”. Clients contact us to report that it’s not working, and when they try some minutes later after a page refresh, it’s working. But if they try to resend the form (without page reload), it’s never working. It’s very annoying because it’s a big form to fill …

    The only updates I made last week were : 404page plugin, askimet plugin & polylang plugin.

    There are no error on our server or mail.
    I also use WP mail smtp plugin.

    Do you ave any idea?

    I am also getting this error without any changes made to my contact form settings. I understand what the different errors mean, however my form was working and now it is suddenly giving the “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” error.

    The “Sender’s message failed to send” and “Submission was referred to as spam” have the same error message. So I changed the text to figure out which one it is and it is marking all of the submissions as spam.

    Please advise?

    Tank you for the FAQ link. I didn’t know the meaning of orange box (spam).

    As I said before, I didn’t change anything in my website so I really don’t understand why some form submits are now detected as spams.

    My only guess is that Google changed something in reCAPTCHA v3. I disabled it to see what happens. But it’s not a long term solution …
    @taxwaregenie do you also use reCAPTCHA v3 ?

    I hope we will find the real problem here ??
