Sender e-mail is ignored

    Hi, all e-mail are sent using the site owners e-mail-addess but I have settings correctin “Downloads” > “Messages” > “From Email”.

    Again, mails sent via your download plugin are sent from site owner email and not using the setting “From Email” from Messages section.

    I also have tried to overwrite this using WP SMTP, but does not work, sender is always site owner.

    Any idea?

    Hi,

    Then there is probably another plugin that overrules these mail settings (of our plugin and the SMTP plugin). You could try to find out which plugin this is (by switching off for example). Maybe there is a setting that will lower its priority. If you are using an SMTP plugin, it might be better to leave these options empty on the messages settings page and let the SMTP plugin handle these settings.
