    Full disclosure, I haven’t tried this plugin yet, so I’m asking in advance.

    Is it possible for someone to receive a virtual card AND opt for a physical card? It seems like according to your docs it’s a one or the other type thing. Or maybe when someone opts for a physical one they also get emailed the number to redeem, just in case? Or be able to have the option to print it etc.

    Secondly, I want to be able to have the numbers for physical (and virtual) cards uploaded so that they are in sync with any pre-printed physical cards. When question however is, even if they get uploaded in advance they won’t be ‘active’ until someone purchases them, correct?

    Similar to how Amazon handles gift cards, you can choose an emailed gift card or a physical gift card to be shipped. This is accomplished by using two separate products, one for the physical gift card purchase and one for the eGift card. We have more information about how to set this up in our FAQ:

    Regarding pre-populated numbers, you can import existing gift card numbers so they can be redeemed by customers who have the numbers. Importing a gift card means it is available for redemption in your WooCommerce store. The plugin will not pull from an existing list of gift cards when sending the eGift card, it always generates a new number.

    When you import the existing numbers they will be active and ready to use. It sounds like you would need to import the cards with a $0 balance. Prior to mailing the gift card, you can enter the balance purchased so that it is ready to redeem.`
