Send Single User Email Button or Feature

Thanks for your message.

If you want to send notifications to a specific user, you just need to select the user in the Send To box that you want to send the notification to. There’s no way to send one-off notifications with BNFW though – it’s designed to be an enhancement/replacement to existing WordPress notifications.

Yes. I understand. But how do I initiate the request to send to the single user after configuring the notification. There isn’t any instructions on how to actually send the notification for a single user once the notification is set up.

Notifications are sent out automatically once the relevant thing within WordPress is triggered.

E.g. when the New Post Published notification is set-up, this will send out when someone publishes a new post.

What notification are you trying to set-up?

I want to trigger New User Registration – For Admin. I need to be able to send the user name, password, and other important account information for individual users.

Hi Shinshuri,
The ‘New User Registration – For Admin’ notification will be sent to the main site admin when a new user registers and will be sent to the admin.

You can use the ‘New User Registration – For User’ notification to send to the user when they register too. This notification can contain their password, etc.
Passwords can only be sent to the user and never to any other users.

If you setup a user manually in the back-end it will also trigger the notification(s).
