send new page update(not new post) email

  • Looking for a plugin that allows users to subscribe to a page and will send them an email for every update, not necessarily a new post, as the most of my pages are updated but no new blog post is added/ Any suggestions guys?? Thanks/

    If you use “Subscribe To” plugin, it will send an update each time you restore a previous draft of the post or page.

    I looked and all i found was Subscribe to comments, which i didn’t want to use b/c then people would have to leave a comment just to subscribe, also i would have to leave a comment just to trigger the alert. I was trying to get one where they could simply sign up and then when i update the page it triggers and sends an email..

    Or, one where i can send an email from the admin page to all users on a list..

    oh thanks, i think this is correct but i just don’t see where people go to actually subscribe. How do they get on the email list?

    [subscribe2] is the shortcode you put in the page. Otherwise there’s a widget, I think you have to enable the widget in the settings.
