    Hi Team,

    Thanks for this excellent plugin.

My hosting provider limits the maximum email sending to 500 per 24 hours.

If I have, let’s say, 3000 subscribers, is there a feature in icegram to send emails to these 3000 emails in batches, within a time frame of 3000 / 500 = 6 days?

I look forward to your reply!

    Kind Regards

    Swag.

    Hi @swagatam1975,

Thanks for reaching out to us! We’re happy to support you.

The plugin sends emails in batches as set in the plugin setting. e.g. if you have 70 subscribers and in the plugin’s setting, the value of?the Maximum emails to send at once?option is 30, then the plugin sends emails in 3 batches(30+30+10).?

So depending on your situation, if you have a total of 500 emails per day to send, the plugin will require approximately 6 days to complete the email sending process.

I would advise you to consider using a dedicated mailer for sending emails in bulk.

Let me know if you have any other doubts or questions.

    Thanks!

Thank you @shubhanshukandani, for the kind reply!

Sending in 6 days or more is perfectly OK for me. So that means sending notifications to my subscribers in batches will be well within the max email sending limits provided by my host. And my email sending will never be blocked by my hosting provider. That’s great!

However, when I install icegram, I get a notification from yoast plugin, as given below:

You’ve added a new type of content. We recommend that you review the corresponding?Search appearance settings.

I tried to investigate but could find anything.

Can you please tell me why yoast is giving me this warning.

If I deactivate icegram, the problem goes away.

    Awaiting your kind response.

    Thank you!

    Hi @swagatam1975,

    Yes, that’s correct.

Regarding the Yoast warning, it is actually associated with the content you use in your emails or posts or in the title of the post to enhance your SEO and other page rankings.

You can find detailed tips and information on how to address this type of content by using the yoast.

Let me know if you need any other assistance.

    Cheers!

Thank you for your reply @shubhanshukandani,

I understand what you are saying, but why the issue is happening after installing icegram? How is it related to icegram?

Now, as per yoast suggestion once I reviewed the “Template” section of yoast settings, the notifications was quickly removed, although I could not understand what was changed in the template section?

One last question, since I am OK with the 6 days or more time period for the email sending, can I now start using icegram free, without any further settings?

In the settings > email sending, there’s an option “Disable WordPress Cron”, I have disabled it, is that OK, or do I need to keep it enabled?

Thanks very much for your time!

    Best Regards

    Hi @swagatam1975,

Regarding your Yoast statement, it’s possible that Yoast is scanning the content available in the ready-made template. However, this is not an issue but rather a feature of Yoast that highlights content that can be improved on the backend or frontend.

Additionally, you can send emails using the free version, but please make sure to enable the WordPress CRON. Your emails will be triggered by the host’s cron resources.

If you were using the paid version, there would be no need to enable it as our plugin would automatically trigger emails.

Let me know if you have any other doubts.

    Thanks!
