Send email notification again

    Hello having an issue where some customers dont receive email or cant find it,

    Ready for pick up has my pick up instructions in.

    is there a way to send them again like you can with the default woo emails when on an order page it comes up with a drop down to send emails again to customer but there is not the ready to pick up or the picked up status from your plugin is this something thats do able or do i need to add some code or do i have something not turned on

    Hi @designshowcase,

    Right now we don’t have an option to resend the Ready for pickup order status email. You will need to custom code for that.

    Hello, thank you for your response, ahh that’s a great shame, is it something you think you will add shortly. did try a couple of code snippets but still didn’t seem to work cant seem to find much about adding custom emails anywhere on the web. have you had this sort of request or seen anything like this before.

    Hi, this is not something related to us, if you change WooCommerce order status to any status, it will send the email once, there is no way to resend the order status emails again, you can change the order to a different status and then change again to “ready for pickup” and it will send the email.

    well it us related to you as your emails to not feed through to all of woo commerce status areas simply says N/a

    Yes that is half correct, when status changes it will send the email.

    but as you can see in the screenshot and on woo commerce on every order there is a drop down to send all status emails again no matter the status of the order. Your ready to pickup and picked up does not feed into this selection.

    My order could be completed as the status but using the send again i can send the processing email or the new order email again, as seen in screenshot.

    This is not something i have added or changed this is in the default woo commerce so there is a way to send status email again. You clearly just dont want to support it or ever consider looking into.

    Send order emails again has been a feature for years in woo commerce, your custom emails just dont appear. And to suggest to change the status on and off to get it to send again is extremely unprofessional, this being used by professional businesses. That doesn’t make them look good does it, If they have to spam there customers email just to get the correct email status to send again.

    Sorry, I do not think it’s a WooCommerce default panel (send emails), I do not have this panel. it might be added by a plugin and you can request the plugin developer to add the option to send custom order status emails.
