Send E-Mail when changing User Role

  • New registered users are applied to a role without any rights, and I need to inform them once their role is (manually) changed and they then can access the whole website.
    Can’t find anything in WordPress itself and also couldn’t find a plugin for that.
    If anyone knows a plugin or could tell me where I could hook into the WordPress functions to create such an E-Mail, that would be great!
