Send data on new PUBLISHED post but sends on post update also too

  • I have an interesting find. Unsure if I have a misconfiguration or if it is a bug.
    I want to send a hook when I new post is published.

    I have the following configured:
    – Send Data On New Post
    — Post
    — Published
    (no other options are set)

    When a post is published, it fires and works wonderfully (thank you). I noticed that if I update the post it will fire again. is this a bug? I am using the Divi theme on this website. I only want it to fire on the 1st time being published, not on each update.

    Hey @1f2ns – thank you for reaching out to us about that! I can see that you have not set up the webhook to update a post so I believe the issue you experience might be a plugin-related issue from our end.
    Within our new, upcoming version, we refactored this functionality to make it more stable and I’m sure this bug will also be fixed with that.
    As a small indicator: We plan to launch the version within the next two weeks. ??
