    Hello Thomas,
I use your plugin to create the DataLayer. The Tag Manager code is built in with Borlab cookies so that I am GDPR compliant.

Now I want to upload a catalog to Facebook to create dynamic ads. Facebook needs the Content ID for this. But no matter how I try, I can’t get the Content ID from the DataLayer and send it to Facebook. I’ve really tried everything and I’m already desperate.

I hope you can help me so that I can finally run the Dynamic Ads.

If you need more information or screenshots let me know.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Since you are using WooCommerce, the simpliest way could be to activate the Google Ads dyn remarketing feature under Integration->WooCommerce and the read the following data layer variable:

    ecomm_prodid

This will always include the product ID in the corresponding ecommerce action.

    thank you for your message.
you wrote “Google ads”, is that also part of the Facebook Content ID?

do I have to integrate better with woocommerce or with your plugin?

The Google Ads dyn remarketing function of GTM4WP places product IDs into the data layer in a form that is also re-usable within a Facebook pixel (technically both require an array of IDs)

do I have to integrate better with woocommerce or with your plugin?

I do not clearly understand that question
