    Hi there,

    thank you for your plugin, it works great with the checkbox in some of my forms.
    My problem is that I’ve got a contact form in the footer just for subscribing to my newsletter and it doesn’t send the email to the mailchimp list.

    This is the form’s code:

    ‘<div class=”row”>

    <div class=”col-md-12″>
    <label class=”w-100″>[email* mc4wp-EMAIL id:email class:bg-gray-1 class:shadow-0 class:form-control class:form-control-lg placeholder “[email protected]”]</label>
    </div>
    <div class=”col-md-12″>
    [submit class:btn class:btn-yellow class:text-white class:w-100 class:font-weight-bold class:shadow-lg class:btn-lg class:shadow-hover class:secondary-font “Register”]
    </div>
    </div>’

    In the message body I just use the
    [mc4wp-EMAIL]

    field and, you know, the form is actually sent to an email address I own.

    What do I do wrong?

    Please help!!

    Lia

    RESOLVED!

    When I decided to give up on this plugin, I came across this post and fixed my problem: https://blog.cf7skins.com/mailchimp-form-with-contact-form-7/

    The key was to add in the form this line of code
    ‘<input type=”hidden” name=”mc4wp-subscribe” value=”1″ />’

    You should be more thorough in your documentation.

    Thanks for your plugin, I do my job fine using it!
