send auto response email from Infusionsoft when GF Form gets submitted

  • Hi
    I have several Gravity Forms in my website. I would like to send an auto response email through Infusionsoft when someone submits the form. How would I do that?

    My forms are successfully writing to Infusionsoft so that is working fine. Infusionsoft is telling me I need to create my forms with their form builder in order to send an auto response. I dont want to do that. I want to use GF for my forms and have then ‘live’ on my website.

    You can send an autoresponse by setting a tag goal in campaign builder and have that kick off a sequence that has the autoresponder in it. When you set up the form in Gravity Forms, you mapped the GF fields to existing Infusionsoft fields. At the very bottom (below all the mapping fields), you’ll see a list of tags you can choose from. All you have to do is create a tag to use as the tag goal, create your campaign that has nothing in it other than the tag goal and a sequence that has the autoresponder. Then select the tag you created at the bottom of the GF page. Now, when people submit the GF it will input the data into Infusionsoft and also apply that tag, which will put them into the sequence and send the autoresponder. Hope that makes sense. ??
