Send an Email When Button is Clicked

    I am working with pages, not posts. I would like the person reading information on a page that when they have read to a certain point that I determine, there is a button they push. When the button is pushed an email is sent from the person who pushed the button to a specific person that I specify.

    I read items in the forum. I thought the general description of the plug in says it could be done, but I don’t see this option in the triggers when I installed and activated the plugin.

    I am not a technical person, so yo have to talk in plain language to me.

    This plugin look amazing, however. I hope I can use it the way I am wanting.

    yes, it will be possible you are going to need a developer who will implement this for you. Your case is very specific and without integration with your website, it won’t be possible.

    You’ll need to send your developer this documentation and you are going to need a custom trigger.

    Anymore specific you can give on this reply, I am looking too for exaclty this answer and I read your documentation and don’t understand where to do this or how.

    @maphaneuf to create this feature you need strong coding skills because it’s not a matter of a single snippet to copy and paste. Can I guide you how to do it?

    If you develop something, I would like to follow.

    Please point the developer here, I’d be happy to give a hand with this.

    But in general, you are just going to need a custom trigger, executed upon the button click. Doesn’t matter if a button will be a form or it’s going to be an AJAX request. You do an action and wrap it with a custom trigger.
