Send an email to users reminding them about the event 2 days in advance

  • In my database, I already have the users list and the events list with their dates and times.

    How do I send an email to the users list reminding them about the event 2 days in advance? I need it to be automatic.

    Is there a plugin for this? Or do I need to use Cron? Or Transient? Any example? Thanks!
