Send activation link after registration

    Hi,

    If you do not provide a Password field for registration, then new registered users will need to check their email for the password to log in. This serves the same purpose as an activation link.

    Thanks for the reply, it keep giving me ERROR: Please enter your password twice.

    My bad, it worked it was due to some other plugin. received email too ?? thanks for the guidance

    One more thing is it possible to activate user only when he get a confirmation link and clicks on it from his inbox?

    at the moment the plugin is creating user automatically, so if someone do spam. users will be created on back end and it will increase the user table in database.

    I do understand that user wont be able to login till he don’t use the password received in inbox.

    I hope you got my point.

    I see what you mean, yes that could be an issue although you could use a captcha solution – see the filters affiliates_captcha_get and affiliates_captcha_validate described here https://docs.itthinx.com/document/affiliates/api/filters/
