AO does minification, compression of static files is a matter of webserver configuration. If that for some reason is not possible, you could disabled the “serve as static files” option, which will results in the CSS/ JS being served using PHP which includes compression (and caching headers).

    hope this clarifies,

Thank you for the response. Where do I find the option “serve as static files”?
