Selling membership with WooCommerce?

I’m not one of the devs, but I’m pretty sure this won’t be done anytime soon.

What features are you looking for? The ability to use a shopping cart and to sell multiple subscriptions to one purchaser?

ah yea. Better integration would help, as some of us might want to sell other things, not just membership

Wouldn’t you then be better off using a different e-commerce plugin, like iThemes Exchange?

not really. Why couldn’t s2member do a simple integration with the various ecommerce system instead? ?? it’ll help their sales as well

Otherwise all the membership plugins would be doing it. I only know of one established membership plugin that claims to offer integration with WooCommerce, and it’s actually very limited, so that Groups probably remains better. (Like you, I’m not a fan of Groups, and I’m not impressed by the other membership plugin either.)

Have you looked at a new plugin offered on CodeCanyon called WooCommerce Membership? I have been wondering whether that could be used as a bridge between WooCommerce and s2Member, so that (although it’s not designed that way) it could be used just to handle sales, with s2Member providing all the membership functionality.
