Hello all, I might have stumbled across the first problem I am not able to solve with WooCommerce and some plugins ??

A customer of ours wants to sell “contingents” of toner cartridges for printers or copy machines.

Meaning: their customers buy “Cartridge and/or Toner-Packages” online (for Example 10 Cartridges each for two different copy machines), pay for them – but then the Packages/Bundles are not delivered all at once, but form a “contingent” (quota?) from which the customer can withdraw single Cartridges as long as there are Cartriges left in his contingent. As soon as the last cartridge from the contingent is ordered/delivered to him, he is redirected to the store and has to buy single cartridges for full price or a new package/bundle.

Is it possible to do this with wordpress? Or with some plugin? I researched this topic for the whole weekend but didn’t find a propper solution.

Your help is very much appreciated!

    Kind regards,

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you’d like your customers to purchase a number of products at once but only ship items one by one once customer places a second request.

I’m not aware of a plugin capable of introducing such “stock” to the customer’s account but as a workaround you could use a plugin such as [Store Credit](https://woocommerce.com/products/store-credit/) to get your customers to purchase store credit for certain amount and then purchase single cartridges with that credit.

I understand that this is not quite what you’re looking for. The exact functionality you’d like to achieve would probably require some custom coding.

If you decide to pursue such functionality and find yourself in need of help with the code – I’d recommend reaching out to someone from customizations page on WooCommerce.com
