• Most settings are bundled with “More options” link (which should read “Get pro version”). And that would be understandable on important functionality features, but on styling options? For crying out loud, you’re featuring an open source library you didn’t create and selling the border-radius property?

    How cheap can you get?

  • That border-radius is NOT in the open source library. It (among many other things) was added by me and I chose to put it in a payed extension to the free plugin.

Sorry that you seem to be one of those people that feel developers are scum unless they suffer death by hunger. You’re free to vent that opinion by any means and still you are welcome to use the plugin and modify it to your needs. But ask yourself who’s cheap here.

But please do not rate the working of a free plugin based on what is featured in a payed version, OK?

    Have fun ??

I underrated it because while most other plugin creators allow their users to input custom css code and easily customize the look and feel of their installation, you have put efforts into obfuscating the code and making it hard for the average user to override your CSS and scripts.

I think it’s a bad decision that hurts your plugin much more than my rating does. And no, I don’t think developers should starve. However, charging people for border-radius seems wrong and against WP basic concepts. But I don’t expect you to know what WP stands for, how it all started and why it got where it is now. You wouldn’t be asking money for adding border-radius to open source libraries if you did.

Sir, your narrow view shocks me. I’m asking a small amount for a package of extra features, plus a lot of support and efforts from my part to help people use the software and to keep up my development work. Not just border-radius.

Whatever you feel WordPress stands for today, I fear that begrudging developers to make at least some kind of revenue from the joint effort it is, would entail the demise of the whole project.
