    Hi,
    is it possible to sell license keys with Easy Digital Downloads ?

    Essentially there should be list of keys (stock)
    eg:
    12345
    32345
    12345
    …

    The first customer get’s key one (12345) , the next key two (32345) and so an.
    If all keys has been sold the shop should say , out of stock etc.

    is that possible ?

    Hello @salicht,

    You can do that with the Software Licensing addon and the Purchase limit addon to restrict the number of times a Download can be purchased.

    Say if you have 100 preset license keys which you add to a Download then on the Purchase limit you also set 100 so once the 100 purchases are made (100 licenses used) the product can’t be purchased anymore

    Is there a free way ?
    I dont have a budget at the moment.

    There is no free way to do it. Software Licensing and Purchase Limit would be your best options

    can i do the same thing with pdf files? I want to be able to upload pdf files to my wordpress and each order gets 1 pdf file (or how many they order), each file has its own unique code like listed above instead of words they receive a document with the code on it.

    Is this possible with EDD or other plug in without having to create multiple downloads?

    I looked at that, but it won’t work.

    Can I use woocommerce and edd with same cart or they not compatible together.?

    No, EDD and WooCommerce are not compatible.

    Hey @daslicht, since it’s not one of our extensions, I’m not for sure about that. You’ll have reach out to the developer see if that’s possible.
