Sell Media impacts bbPress forum sort…

Hi Thad,

Strange one, but I’ve noticed that when logged out, Sell Media reverses the sort order of forums (top-level, 2nd level are fine) in bbPress. When logged into WP, the sort order is correct.

Any ideas?

Hi Thad,

I believe that a simple installation with buddypress and bbpress (with a couple of forums created will do.

Let me know if there is something which I can do to help.

What I’ve since found is that the Sort Order in Sell Media/Setting when defaulted to Date DESC it impacts bbPress by inverting the order of the forums. So in effect the forums are displayed in date creation desc order.
This only happens when a member isn’t logged into wordpress. When they are logged in bbPress forum sort order is fine.

What I’ve had to do was change the Sell Media Order By to Date ASC but of course this then means that the photos are not ordered newest first.
