Sell bundle product when one of the product is out of stock

  • Hi,

    I sell bundled products and I need to sell them even if one of the products inside are out of stock.
    I tried to allow backorders for the bundled products but the setting is ignored (not even updated on Save).
    I can’t allow backorders for the single products.

    How can I fix this?

    Looks like there’s no easy solution for this.

    But I think is something common in e-commerce business: that’s the case where you sell, for example, “surprise” boxes with random candies, and at the same time you sell that candies separately on the same e-commerce (and you have to manage the stock).
    You still want to sell the box even if one of the candy inside is out of stock because you can replace it with another (without telling the customer because it’s a surprise box).

    It’s the last feature I need for buying the premium version of the plugin.
